Bio

Maggie is a multi-dimensional artist who creates images as a way to inspire others to celebrate life's beauty. Whether you attend one of her movement classes, engage her newest artwork or try on her jewelry, you will always sense the Maggie touch.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1995, Maggie embarked on her career as a clay artist. She specialized in outdoor tile installations. She worked for fellow artists to broaden her knowledge in glass, wood, metals, resin and clay. Her desire to stay connected with the community and share her passions for the arts naturally led her into teaching. She spent her nights writing songs and singing in local bands.
Maggie braved a new path down the east coast, starting a new band, branching out into painting and found herself landing in the world of interior design. The progression into design was aided by her years of investigating materials, drive to help others and never ending desire to problem solve. During this time, she met her husband, Greg, and settled in Maryland. Maggie stayed connected to the art world through photos and paint. She broadened her talents by becoming a Reiki Master and earned a teaching belt in the Nia Technique. These new tools opened her to the healing arts and inspired her to return to her New England roots.
In September 2006, Maggie moved to Maine to celebrate the world of her childhood and bring back all of her knowledge and talents to share with her new community. Dancing through life as a full time artist , art teacher, and Nia instructor, Maggie uses her materials as a way to tell a story. Every image is a reflection of how the world looks through her eyes. Who knows where you might meet up with Maggie next...could be at a downtown gallery or singing a few lines at a local pub...it's anyone's guess what it next!
